Ferrari has begun teasing a special tribute livery dedicated to Michael Schumacher ahead of its home Formula 1 event at Monza. The Italian outfit is expected to run its SF-26 machines with a design honouring the German driver, who secured five of his seven world championships during his legendary tenure in red.
Reports indicate that the visual design will blend red and black highlights with gold wheels, drawing direct inspiration from the historic 196 F310. Next week’s grand prix at the historic Italian circuit coincides with two major historical milestones for the driver. It marks the thirtieth anniversary of his maiden triumph with Ferrari in 1996, alongside the twentieth anniversary of his final victory with the team in 2006.
Schumacher claimed five consecutive drivers titles for the Scuderia between 2000 and 2004, capturing seventy-two of his ninety-one career wins with the Maranello squad.
